Michael Lamberti directed, wrote, and produced his first short film back in 2020. The was part of the Dollar Baby Film Program, founded by Stephen King. Stephen King made this program to help independent filmmakers make short films from the short stories he wrote during his early career as a writer. Michael Lamberti's film was accepted and was distributed nationwide. The film debuted at the Dollar Baby Film Festival which was hosted by IGN. It's currently still in its film festival run.
Preproduction started in the Summer of 2019 and the film was premiered in the Spring of 2021.
Won Best Thriller at the Bloody Horror International Film Festival in April of 2025.
Bloody Therapy
"Jessica and Alicia must survive a night full of drugs, a mental crisis, and vegan werewolves?"
Genre: Comedy Horror.
During his master's degree at Full Sail University Michael made his second indie short film, Bloody Therapy. About a vegan Elvis werewolf that eats vegans because he thinks he is on a vegan diet but really...He isn't. Michael was tasked to direct, write, and produce the short film within a five-month deadline. The film was completed three weeks before its deadline. Currently, the film is still on its film festival run.
So far, Bloody Therapy won Best Comedy and Best First Time Director at the Bloody Horror International Film Festival.
Preproduction started in February of 2021 and was completed by October of 2021.

Genre: Action Drama
This short film was part of a short film challenge hosted by the Orlando Independent Filmmakers Legend Challenge. Michael was tasked to direct, write, and produce the short film with a two-month deadline. The film took three days to film and meet its deadline.
Sofar, The Amulet won Best First Time Director, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Action Adventure, Best Leading Actor, and Actress at the Bloody Horror International Film Festival.
Preproduction started in January of 2023 and was completed by March of 2023.

Was nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Lead Actress and Best Supporting Actress, Best Production Design, and Best Hair and Make Up in April of 2025
